For the first album of Louis, I did improvised the whole thing. The little friend, the donkey, that always comes to help him at the worst moment was created completely by luck because I drew him in the first image among all the toys on the floor. Once that basic narrative frame was found with the first album I had to keep the second story in the same direction so I used a rough layout of the book to be able to know where I was doing this time.
