    Après avoir dévoré, en novembre 2011, vos Chroniques de Jérusalem (comme un grand hasard, juste après mon retour d’israel), puis dans la foulée vos Chroniques birmanes, j’ai ensuite littéralement dévoré (encore une fois) Pyongyang et Shenzhen…

    Je m’apprête à aller en Birmanie pour 2 semaines (dans 15 jours) et je dois dire que vos Chroniques birmanes ont largement influencé mon choix 🙂

    Hâte d’y être, de découvrir et de ressentir tout ça !

    Je me suis d’ailleurs posé la question, si je pouvais emporter avec moi vos Chroniques birmanes là bas…
    Si jamais j’en vois quelques exemplaire trôner en tête de gondole je vous enverrai une petite photo 🙂

  2. “Burma Chronicles” is one of the best books I’ve ever read about Burma in years. (Yes, I’m a Burmese guy living in Rangoon.) But after reading this book in English, I found out that the Burmese translation is not accurate enough. It’s too polite in Burmese way and lost some of your humor.

    Good news is that the government no longer blocks the road to Aung San Suu Kyi. Even the buses can run on this road now.
